Lee Hyori clarifies earlier marriage statement

Lee Hyori clarified what she meant by her previous marriage statement.

During Uhm Tae Woong and Yoon Hye Jin's wedding ceremony, she was asked about her own marriage plans. She had answered, "The president (Park Geun Hye) hasn't married yet either, so I feel like I don't have a reason to get married soon."

She gained criticism for her statement because she sounded like she was being sarcastic against the president. However, she explained her statement, saying, "I wasn't being sarcastic. I meant that I could lead a great life even if I don't get married. Female celebrities are always asked about their marriage plan when they're over 30.. I got tired of it and I said it to be funny, so don't take it so seriously." She added, "Sorry~ if it wasn't funny. I must have lost my touch because I took a break for too long."
