Baek Chung Kang undergoes 2nd surgery for rectal cancer

'Birth of A Great Star' winner Baek Chung Kang recently underwent a 2nd round of surgery for rectal cancer and assured fans of the positive results.

Baek Chung Kang's agency revealed on the 11th, "Baek Chung Kang underwent the 2nd round of his rectal cancer surgery on the 9th. The results are good and he is currently in recovery. We will have to wait and see to see how long the recovery will take. For this year, more so than his promotional activities, we will focus on his recovery."

Baek Chung Kang also shared on his me2day, "I am fine. If I were to break down because of this illness, I wouldn't be here. You don't have to worry. I thank and love you all. I have strength because of you all."

As mentioned before, back in August, Baek Chung Kang was found to be in the beginning stage of rectal cancer and uncovered a 4 cm-long tumor which had some cancerous cells, and halted his activities to undergo his first surgery.
