Actress Kim Nam Joo, who recently took home her second Daesang during the '2012 KBS Drama Awards', recalled the hardships she faced as a child growing up in a home with financial difficulties.
Her interview segment with MBC's 'Good Day' saw the actress reveal many aspects of herself. From her feelings on winning the awards to her personal life, she was open to discuss her life story in honest detail without any trace of hesitance.
The actress recalled that she had never traveled on her own leisure before, stating that flying overseas with her 'You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly'�co-stars to shoot was her first time traveling.
"Traveling is possible for people who are financially able," said Kim. "It was simply not possible for me in my teens. My family wasn't very financially stable, but it kept me inspired to work hard and make a lot of money in the future."
