Girl group 4minute will be the first to release a track for the OST (soundtrack) of KBS2TV's new drama 'School 2013.'
4minute will release a song for the 'School 2013' OST titled "Welcome to The School" on December 4th through various online music portals.
The song "Welcome to The School" features a theme of a school that is tarnished with violence and bullying and the song wants to provide some hope and take away the feelings of despair.
"Welcome to The School" features a powerful drum sound and a heavy guitar rift along with a unique but upscale chorus. It is a new pop dance track that shows off the various vocal skills of the girls of 4minute and with the addition of HyunA's rap it is sure to be an excellent song.
'School 2013' is the fifth in the 'School Series' which started in 1999 and was last broadcasted in the short lived 'School 4' back in 2001.
