Sooyoung's older sister Choi Soojin makes a cameo appearance on 'Third Hospital'

Actress Choi Soojin made a surprise cameo appearance on the most recent episode of her sister Sooyoung's debut drama, 'Third Hospital'.

On the 12th episode of the tvN drama, Girls' Generation's Sooyoung made her first appearance as character Lee Eujin, a violist helplessly in love with Oh Ji Ho's character Seung Hyun.

In one scene of the episode, Choi Soojin could be seen lying on a hospital bed with her body covered in blood followed by another scene which showed a close up of her portrait, disclosing to viewers that she had passed on to the next life. Knowing she did not have much time left to live, Choi Soojin's character had taken her own life. Oh Ji Ho, who had been Choi Soojin's boyfriend could be seen holding his late girlfriend's portrait distraught over the situation.

At a press conference held earlier in the summer, Oh Ji Ho had revealed, "There is a portion of the drama in which Sooyoung and Choi Soojin will appear together."

Netizens commented on Choi Soojin's cameo saying, "I wasn't expecting Choi Soojin to appear, I was unsure if it was her as I was watching but I guess it was", "I'm anticipating the scenes which will show how the two met in the past", "Did she appear as a favor to her little sister", and more.
