On August 11th, a media outlet ran a report speculating that Girl's Day's Jihae may be a victim of group bullying following Hwayoung's controversy with T-ara. Responding to the concerns, Girl's Day's agency has stepped up to deny the rumors.
The original report raised suspicions regarding Jihae's four month hiatus from activities due to health reasons, for she seemed to be doing fine on her personal time as she updated her personal Twitter regularly with news about happenings in her life. The report speculated that group bullying was the result of her hiatus.
Jihae's recent ambiguous tweet also added to the rumors, where she stated, "Relationship, dream, giving up, honor, money, work, success, personal life, stubbornness, trust, and the jealousy of a woman?"
Dream Tea Entertainment responded to the claims by stating, "The claims are completely unfounded. Jihae has been maintaining a friendly relationship with the other members, and the members themselves are extremely upset with such news being reported."
