August 3rd broadcast of KBS 'Music Bank' to be canceled due to Olympics

KBS 2TV's popular music show 'Music Bank' will unfortunately be canceled for the August 3rd broadcast due to the airing of the 2012 London Olympics.

KBS officials stated on the�morning of July 25th , "This coming August 3rd, 'Music Bank' will be cancelled with the Olympics aired in its place. Although there may be variations, currently archery, fencing, and table tennis events are scheduled to air during the time slot of 'Music Bank'."

They continued, "This will be the only day that the broadcast will be canceled. It will air normally on other days.�The Olympic Games will hold its official opening ceremony on July 28th."

Meanwhile, both After School's UEE and Lee Jang Woo continue to host 'Music Bank' as regular MCs.
