Singer Baek Chung Kang to release his first digital single

Singer Baek Chung Kang, who many know as the winner of season 1 of Mnet's 'Birth of a Great Star', is set to release his first ever digital single!

On April 12th Baek Chung Kang's agency stated, "On the 18th Baek Chung Kang will release his first digital single titled 'Missing You.'"

"Missing You" is a medium tempo song about the regret and grief of breaking up. The song's lyrics and composition are by Baek Chung Kang's mentor during 'Birth of a Great Star' and leader of Boohwal, Kim Tae Won.

After winning on 'Birth of a Great Star', Baek Chung Kang made appearances in small concerts but had been keeping relatively quiet in terms of broadcast, leaving fans wondering where he has been. After the long wait, many people are now anticipating how much he has developed as a singer.

Fans of Baek Chung Kang have all joined together to promote his new single to the public by putting up advertisements for his new song on subway stations all over!

All the advertisements were planned, designed, and edited by the fans, and are receiving much attention.

In related news, Baek Chung Kang is scheduled to release his first mini album sometime in May and is using "Missing You" on April 18th as a kickoff to his future releases.
