The singer who crossed over to Korea to debut with M.I.B spent his childhood in Japan and his later years in Hawaii, and thus, can speak Japanese, Korean, and English. Kangnam also drew much attention in the past for resembling top Japanese celebrity Takuya Kimura.
His group M.I.B is a four-member hip-hop team produced by Jungle Entertainment, the home to Korea's biggest hip hop artists such as Drunken Tiger, Yoon Mirae, Leessang, and more. The boys made their grand debut in October of last year with their title track "G.D.M". The talented artists proved to be different from other rookies, and with their fierce charisma, they've made a strong impression on the public. Already, the boys' skills have been well acknowledged, being invited to stand on stage with globally-respected artists such as Far*East Movement and Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am.
