Rainbow's first sub-unit, Rainbow Pixie, made their debut last week, and were cheered on by their fellow Rainbow members!
On January 16th, DSP Media shared two backstage photos from MBC's 'Show! Music Core'. Taken on the 14th, the three members of Rainbow Pixie (Seung Ah, Jisook, and Hyun Young) are seen holding gifts brought by their fellow Rainbow groupmates (Jaekyung, Woori, Yoon Hye, and No Eul).
Rainbow had wanted to commemorate the debut performance of "Hoi Hoi", and so they gave Rainbow Pixie a cake and a broomstick. The broomstick, oddly enough, was meant to be a 'magic broomstick' to complement Rainbow Pixie's 'fairy' concept.
Rainbow Pixie's "Hoi Hoi" is a sweet pop song that plays with a magical theme. The girls threw in words like "Hoi Hoi ultra pectorus beams" and "Sempra Sempra" to act as incantations for a love spell.
