Son Dam Bi talks about her drama, 'Light and Shadows'

Singer/actress Son Dambi opened up about her role in the drama, 'Light and Shadows'. A 'Light and Shadows' press conference was held at the MBC Dream Center in Ilsan on December 19th, and it was here that Son Dambi remarked, "I think that they had my best interest in mind by giving me limited air time in the beginning of the drama. They were giving me time to get comfortable in the drama, and time to develop." "And the fact that I was able to perform as a singer in the midst of all of that, served as a good opportunity for me to showcase my best qualities," she continued. In regards to the public's opinion regarding her acting skills, she remarked, "A lot of my own scenes have yet to air, and so I feel like people have not seen enough of my acting to form an opinion. I'll make a lot more appearances from the 7th and 8th episodes, and I too am curious to know what everyone thinks." 'Light and Shadows' tells the story of a man who put his everything into living the life of an entertainer on stage in the 60's, while also covering the main events that occurred between the 1960's and present day including the Vietnam War. Son Dambi plays the role of Yoo Chae Young, a dancer who turns into a top star who settles no less for perfection.
