KARA & 2NE1 unable to attend the 2011 KBS Music Festival

Girl groups KARA and 2NE1 will be absent from the 2011 KBS Music Festival that is scheduled to take place at the KBS Hall in Yeoido. An insider from the industry informed StarNews on the 27th, "KARA will be attending the the 53rd Japan Record Awards and therefore will be unable to attend the KBS Music Festival." The same insider also stated, "There is an award ceremony taking place in Japan the same day as the KBS Music Festival, and unfortunately, it looks like [2NE1] will be unable to attend as well." The 2011 KBS Music Festival will air on KBS 2TV on December 30th.
