Lee Hyori's dancer, Kim Hye Rang, shed tears after receiving harsh criticisms on 'Birth of a Great Star 2'.
Kim Hye Rang appeared on the show's September 16th episode, and it was revealed that she's taught dance to many singers aside from Lee Hyori.
The dancer's talents in the pop-'n-lock field are said to be world-class, and she proved it when she showed off abilities in front of the judges, receiving enthusiastic applause.
However, when she followed that up with her rendition of Hwayobi's "Bye Bye Bye", the judges were less than impressed.
Judge Yoon Il Sang remarked, "You have no rhythm and your vocals were totally lacking.. You're better off working harder in the area you're good at".
Kim Hye Rang had revealed before her audition that "I started dance in order to become a singer".
