After she broke up with him, the man falsely released reports that she embezzled him of $5 million USD. On August 26th, China's�Guangzhou Daily reported that Han had seduced a wealthy Chinese man for the explicit purpose of acquiring with $5 million USD. Although she wanted to step up and clarify the situation herself in Korea, she was fearful of leaving China in case she would get detained at the airport.� She eventually had to turn to the Guangzhou Consulate for her protection, delaying her date of exit from the 27th to the 30th. Through the help of a church friend and her uncle, she was able to force her ex-boyfriend to confess the truth to the police on the night of the 29th.� Her agency revealed, "Under the protection of the police, the two met and the man confessed to his mistake of spreading false rumors about her and defaming her." They continued, "The problem stemmed from his shock over being dumped by her and he lost his mind. He received documents with false information about Han listed on them and he lost his sense of judgment soon after. He expressed his regret for his actions in front of the police later on. Contrary to the reports from Chinese newspapers, he is not a wealthy millionaire, nor does he own any buildings. We have recordings to prove this." Han is currently preparing to sue for defamation with her legal team.� Although she hasn't arrived in Korea yet, representatives explained, "She will return as soon as she can calm down." After the entire ordeal, she texted her manager, "I've been through such shock and panic that I've lost a lot of weight.� My body and mind is in a state of fatigue."
