A Pink's main vocalist, Jung Eun Ji, has been revealed to be hometown friends with former "Superstar K2" contestant and current YG Entertainment trainee, Kang Seung Yoon.
Both originally from Busan, the two attended the same private music class. Although Kang Seung Yoon was born in 1994, he's considered the same age as '93-er Jung Eun Ji because he was born in January.
A close associate of the two revealed, "Kang Seung Yoon and Jung Eun Ji kept in contact after arriving in Seoul. Kang Seung Yoon would often tell industry representatives that his friend from Busan would be debuting in A Cube Entertainment soon. Jung Eun Ji also told others of her friendship with him."
After discovering that bit of information, netizens expressed their surprise over the coincidence of them entering the music industry around the same year, and passed on good wishes for the duo's future.
