Former F.T. Island member Oh Wonbin changed his name to Oh Seonghyun

Upon becoming a solo artist after withdrawing from F.T. Island, former member Oh Won Bin revealed a story of when he used to be called a different name. A representative from FNC Music expressed, "Oh Won Bin changed his name to 'Oh Seong Hyun' during his 3rd year in middle school. Because his name is the same as actor Wonbin, he received a lot of teasing from his friends. Hesitantly, he changed his name." Even now, his citizen registration number, passport, and all of his documents say 'Oh Seong Hyun'. The representative continued, "When he entered the company, he was called 'Oh Won Bin', therefore it has become a habit. When he debuted, he decided to go with his real name." Oh Won Bin is currently promoting his solo song, "I Love You and I Love You", with Brown Eyed Girls' Miryo. Source: Newsen
