Shin Jung Hwan's recent gambling controversy is garnering more attention, as rumors abound that there were other stars who joined him. One of these stars was rumored to be Rain, but it appears to have been a mix-up by reporters, as Rain's representatives are vehemently denying that he was involved in any gambling: "It's absolutely false."
Evidently, Rain was filming for upcoming KBS drama "Fugitive" in the Philippines. His representatives explained, "Rain has been recording for his drama as well as performing on stage, so he's been incredibly busy. The fact that he would have time to gamble doesn't even make sense."
They continued, "Though it is true that Rain was in a hotel with a casino during his stay in Macao, he did not gamble at all. It's also true that he met the director in Cebu, but he never met Shin Jung Hwan during that time, so these gambling rumors don't make sense. Rain is currently recording busily in Manila."
The rumors seem to have started when a netizen visiting the Philippines posted that he saw Rain in the same hotel as Shin Jung Hwan.
