MBC and SBS fighting for Yoo Jae Suk to save their variety shows

Since leaving Family Outing in February 2010 to concentrate on his family life, Yoo Jae Suk has had more time for his wife while also at the same time savour the joy of becoming a father for the first time earlier this month. It was revealed on the 19th that both SBS and MBC have both submitted proposals to Yoo Jae Suk's management recently and wants him to return and lead a variety show for the lucrative Sunday evening timeslot once again. After leaving Family Outing, Yoo Jae Suk is now just hosting Come to Play and Infinity Challenge on MBC and Happy Together Season 3 on KBS. KBS2TV's Happy Sunday lineup consisting of 1N2D and Qualification of Men have been a mighty force in the ratings department, often leaving the ratings for SBS's Good Sunday and MBC's Sunday Sunday Night in the single-digit range. And the only one possible rival to Kang Ho Dong is Yoo Jae Suk. Both are known in Korea as the true national MCs and are guaranteed to pull in ratings. At the present moment, Yoo's representative said that he is not considering anything now and is cautious about the future. SBS meanwhile expressed optimism that Yoo Jae Suk will return and will do anything to suit his requirements.
