It's been a while since we've seen Taegoon on the k-pop scene as he's been busy with activities in Japan. It's now been revealed the singer will be returning the Korean media but this time as an actor.
The singer made his debut last year with his mini-album Call Me and his title track of the same name. Since then he's gathered quite a strong fan base so it seems he'll have a lot of support with his debut as an actor.
Normally most singers would start out small with a television show but Taegoon is jumping right on to the big screen as he was cast in a movie called Piano Above The Sea. He will be taking on the lead male role as a pianist Jung Woo Hyuk as he presents a heart felt love story and will romance Jo An.
A rep from Taegoon's label at WM Entertainment said, "The producer and director have long been looking at Taegoon and have finally chosen him. Since it is his first role, he is trying extra hard to practice his acting and piano abilities."
Taegoon commented on his first acting role saying, "I'm honored to make my first debut through such a big project. I'll do my best to not disappoint as an actor."
