Camillo Lauricella responds to Pledis Entertainment on Bang! choreography

Posted by mashimello0 pt Friday, April 30, 2010

A week ago, girl idol group After School was faced with choreographic plagiarism accusations regarding their recent hit, Bang! Soon afterwords, they faced another accusation as UEE's dance segment on Kim Jung Eun's Chocolate was an exact replica of dancer Camillo Lauricella's choreography for Britney Spears' 3. Despite the similarities, Pledis Entertainment denied these claims saying, "The choreography for Bang! is strictly the end product of our creation, put together by Pledis' Korean and American choreographers." Now that Pledis Entertainment has had their turn, it seems like choreographer Camillo Lauricella has something to say! Camillo Lauricella recently released a Youtube video in which he talks about his stance on Pledis' statement. In the clip, he makes it clear that he does not blame After School for the choreography but rather, their choreographer. He then goes on to thank his and After School's fans for being supportive throughout the whole ordeal. Then comes the serious business. In regards to Pledis' statement, he said, "Yes, I've seen what Pledis Entertainment had to say about it. And honestly, I didn't really expect anything else. Like, it's so ignorant and really not cool at all." Check out what else he had to say about the whole issue. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zh7237hKf5A Thanks to _teekee for the tip! And stay tuned as we bring you more updates on this growing problem!
