Actor Joo Ji Hoon (27) finally got enlisted for the army on February 2nd at the 306 reserve army unit at Uijeongbu. He had been waiting for a long time to serve his nation, having announced his decision to get enlisted last year. His promising acting career had been temporarily put on hold after he was charged with drugs usage last June. He was then sentenced to 120 hours of community work. Joo Ji Hoon expressed,
"Thank you all for coming to send me off. I will work hard and do my best in the army. Please look forward to a new image of me 2 years later."Joo Ji Hoon will be doing his basic military training for the next 5 weeks before starting his two year mandatory national service.
