On February 1, the global make-up brand Shiseido confirmed that the Hallyu star Choi Ji Woo (Winter Sonata, Stairway to Heaven) had been chosen as the brand's 2010 main model. Choi Ji Woo stated, "Shiseido is a make-up brand that I use daily for a clear skin. I've used Shiseido for a while now so I know the brand personally and understand it, so I am even more happy that I have been chosen as the new Shiseido Korea model." With her title as a Hallyu star as well as her famously clear & white skin, Choi Ji Woo seems fit to be Shiseido's new model. She will begin all 2010 Shiseido promotions starting from the 2nd.
