This year, it seems like the Wonder Girls have been all over the place - last year, the Koreans & international fans were clap-clap-pointing even after the Nobody promotions, and now one year later, many Americans have joined in the Nobody craze! Although the girls have been busy in New York, it looks like their popularity is still going strong in their homeland. Despite the rampage of new girl groups this year, Wonderfuls are staying true to their roots and remain faithful to their favorite quintet. On Music Bank last evening, one fan even brought a placard proclaiming "Wonderfuls, don't switch your fandom" as a proclamation of loyalty. It's fantastic that Korean fans are supporting their girls even though they probably miss seeing the fivesome at home. As we reported earlier, the Wonder Girls have been especially busy in the States this week. After releasing their official Jason Nevins Nobody remix in Justice stores nationwide, the girls also visited New York and New Jersey for two successful meet and greets. As you have probably noticed by now, Wonder Girls leader Sunye is missing from all of these photos. Netizens were quick to jump on this absence because Sunye is well-known to be the type of idol that shows up at appearances even if she is sick or fatigued. Rumor has it that the talented singer is back in Korea for personal family matters regarding her dad. Many Wonderfuls are especially worried because Sunye, whose mother passed away when she was little, has often talked about her love for her father and grandmother; furthermore, her father has a disability and has been sick for a long time. However, JYP Entertainment has not released any statements nor have there been any official reports regarding her absence. Hopefully this is nothing but a rumor; we wish Sunye and her family our best wishes!
