Wheesung and Lee Hyun duet on M! Countdown

While the line-up for this week's Mnet Countdown was hectic, with old artists leaving the stage and new artists entering it, the ballad singers could not be overlooked as well. Both respected as vocally-talented artists, Wheesung and Lee Hyun of 8eight did not disappoint in their special performance of the former's hit song "With Me", delivering it with a strong passion that you simply could not pry your eyes away from. The two demonstrated great partnership as their powerhouse vocals blended together harmoniously throughout the song, from the charismatic rap to the final high note. In working with Wheesung, Lee Hyun revealed, "He was always a respected sunbae whom I wanted to learned from the most. Although my throat was not in very good condition because of the 8eight concert held just last weekend, I could not pass up the opportunity to sing with him." Personally, I am glad to hear one of my favorite norebang (karaoke) songs being sung live again in nearly 3 years by, not one, but two amazing singers. It's like discovering a two-for-the-price-of-one deal at my favorite retail store and, as a stereotypical Asian, I cannot be dissatisfied with such a bargain.
