Jang Geun Suk had been casted for Hong Gi Seon's upcoming movie, Itaewon Murder Case. The movie has been in filming and production since May. The movie is based on a true unsolved murder case that happened twelve years ago in the restroom of Burger King located in Itaewon. A university student was found dead in the restroom after many stabbings where two Americans had been found to be suspects of the case. Jang Geun Suk plays the role of one of the American suspects. Jung Jin Young, who plays the role of lead detective, tries to solve the mystery. Actors Shin Seung Hwan, Go Chang Suk, Oh Kwang Rok and Song Joong Ki will also take part in the movie.
