The Cyworld Digital Music Awards are given to the one whose songs are the most played or used as the background music on Cyworld minihompies for that particular month. 9-member girl group Girls' Generation picked up Cyworld Song of the Month award for January for their hit single Gee yesterday at Seoul Fashion Art Hall. This was their 2nd Cyworld award after Into The New World. Gee was played or used 240,009 times. Girls' Generation performed Gee while there were also performances by Jewelry S and Shinee. Rookie of the Month went to Memory for Paradise (not T-Max) whose song was played or used 20,001 times.
