Mother kills her own baby to hide her infidelity

A mother who killed her own baby in order to hide her affair has been arrested. 

It is reported that the woman, a 36-year-old who is married, murdered her infant daughter in a restroom stall. She had given birth to the baby back on July 29 at a hospital and left with the infant, only to kill her 4 days later. 

The woman then wrapped the dead infant's body with a plastic bag and left it on the porch of her apartment. Two days later, she buried the body at a nearby mountain. The police were able to recover the body at the mountain location.

The 36-year-old's crime was uncovered after a local health center staff member became suspicious of the woman not bringing her baby for registration and vaccine shots, even though it had been over 3 months. The suspicious staff member then contacted the police.

The police who interviewed the woman stated, "She says that she committed the crime because she became pregnant by a man who is not her husband... Nobody close to her knew that she was pregnant and had given birth." 

The police are continuing to investigate to see if there were any other persons involved with the crime.
