On August 14, a representative of Seven Seasons told media outlet HeraldPOP, "Zico was able to participate in Taeyang's solo album as a featuring artist. Taeyang was the one who made the request first and Zico accepted."

The two, who've had a continuous musical interchange, recently met a studio in Seoul and proceeded on a production together.
