Hairstylist Kim Woo Ri discussed T-ara's bullying incident on Channel A's 'Heard It Through the Grapevine' broadcasted on March 13.

Having previously worked as T-ara's hairstylist, Kim Woo Ri commented, "While T-ara was still a rookie group, the girls worked really hard during the course of 3-4 years as they acquired a strong bond."

She continued, "However with the addition of a new friend, the bond shifted. It is clear that T-ara had done nothing wrong."

Kim Woo Ri mentioned, "Hwayoung called the staff in charge of washing hair at the beauty parlor, 'Shampoo.'  Instead of calling her 'hair and makeup artist', she'd say, 'Let's go, Shampoo'. And that is what led to the rumors spreading among the staff," surprising the audience.

Why is he bringing this up again though? After all these years? How come he never came out and actually defended T-ara when everyone was calling them bullies? This guy is just trying to get attention.

I'll just recopy my response from earlier to respond to your questions: Hwayoung's family is rich and they previously used money and power to squander any rumors. Because the issue blew up so big recently and out of Hwayoung's family's control, people can now more safely expose the dirt that happened back then. Furthermore, many staffs did try to expose what happened back then, but were either shut up because of Hwayoung's family or nobody bothered to listen to them. During the time of the issue, literally, the entire Korean public turned its back against T-ARA, which is why they resorted to the Chinese market to begin with. Also, the guy doesn't need attention. He's a popular stylist who makes a fine living and name for himself.

What about 3 stylists and a former CEO?

Unless it's (ex)T-ara it doesn't matter -at all-.

I remember when an actor stepped up to defend Eunjung back then, he was facing a lot of backlash because people just want to believe what they want to believe. He just ended up shut his mouth and distanced away from Eunjung. People kept saying why no one spoke up, why can't you ask... why no one LISTEN back then?

I remember that. She was in a drama and she was dropped like a burning coal.

He stepped on the nerve and she validated it by her response. Just keep giving Hwayoung allll the rope she needs to hang herself with.

Yeah but have you thought of the other actors and staff working hard?

... and? They get paid to work. I'm tired of people using "working hard" as a justification for something. In the end, only results matter. Can you get those results without work? No. But the cold, hard, reality of the world is that you can work your ass off and still fail. If she isn't thinking about her co-workers when she opens that huge cavernous mouth, why should I?

Just because she doesn't care what comes out of her mouth does not mean you should do the same, tho (if I'm interpreting your comment correctly). A lot of successful dramas are based on ratings. Yes, the other staff are working super hard for it and to be brought down by a member's attitude problem is a sad and real issue; and it shouldn't be normalized. Sure; reality is that people do let you down. But next question would be "how can it be fixed?" Rather than "so be it." As much as I dislike her attitude right now I still wish the best of the staff in the drama ^^

They can always fire her, like Eunjung was fired because of her Hwayoung's treachery.

I see... i almost had the thought that maybe some of them really hates Hwayoung to be in the group and tried to kick her out.

Well I won't disregard the fact that T-ARA did ostracize Hwayoung. Because of her attitude, she was not only difficult for staff to work with, but also the T-ARA members. It was already reported that T-ARA members did already try to discuss with Hwayoung about her behavior and to work out a solution, but Hwayoung completely refused to cooperate. Consequently, T-ARA resorted to, though not direct bullying, isolate her (esp. since the CEO wasn't listening to them because he was backing up Hwayoung's family). So in a sense, T-ARA members did generally not want Hwayoung in the group and they DID ostracize her (though they did not bully her in any way that could hurt her; rather, members kept their distance). But it wasn't like T-ARA couldn't handle new members or something; they were perfectly fine when Ahreum joined the group.

the actual truth is already out there? a lot of celebrities and all of t-ara staff defended t-ara back in 2012 but no one cared. There is absolutely no prove that t-ara bullied her, all the made up proves were proven wrong 100%. And there are proves that hwayoung is a liar.

most of you guys seems to not know that kim woori is not your typical mere hairstylists. he's not those types that others could just easily insult or step on. nobody deserves to be treated like that anyway. and there must be a reason why he's suddenly telling others about this. he's not one to go around and make up stories about others

he didn't say that she insulted him, HwaYoung called one the workers "shampoo" he is just say it happen. This is being brought up beause of the earlier news and thats the concept of the show. I don't know how close she is to the lady to call her that. But yeah Kim WooRi wouldn't be making up stories.

Calling someone "shampoo" is more then insulting-It's degrading, ungrateful and very disrespectful. You're reducing a very important role to an item they just happen to use.

i never said it wasn't. But as we know people who are close call each other names. all I said was that I don't know how lose the two are. he didn't point out the workers reaction as she could have been laughing or shocked

ok i see your point and the person did come back and say that it was editing.

theres a reason why the staffs said that they couldn't work with her anymore. calling others with such names and maybe her attitude could be a major reason to that.
