NU'EST's Ren is breaking hearts with his sincere note to fans.

The already-debuted idol made the big decision to temporarily halt promotions in NU'EST to participate in 'Produce 101' season 2.

On March 8, the 101 trainees made their first public appearance to attend 'M Countdown' recording. This also allowed a bit of time for the trainees to communicate with fans.

Ren used this opportunity to share his sincere thoughts. On a note to a fan, Ren wrote,

"Nation's Producer nim ♥

Hello!!! This is Choi Min Ki. I'm a very desperate person who really wants to do well now! I will make producer nim happy by working extremely hard!! Please give me lots of love ♥ Always be healthy and happy ♥ I love you ♥ ♥"

NU'EST made their debut in 2012 with 'FACE'. The group is still struggling to get their name known in the competitive idol market even after 5 years since their debut.

In response to Ren's sincere note, netizens are giving great encouragement and commented, "TTTTTTT I support you!! Your songs are all great", "I've always supported you guys. You guys have great visual and performance. It's so unfortunate. Not just Ren but I hope every member sees light soon", "Min Ki TT I hope only good things happen now TT Fighting", "I really wish you have good results here!", and more.

Good luck, Ren!

Please don't hate on Seventeen for this guys (T-T) Even if Pledis put their focus on SVT, they pretty much do all of the work themselves(they even had to promote themselves in their trainee days-b/c Pledis wasn't doing the approach correctly-) P.S REN LOOKS DAMN HOTT WITH SHORTISH BLACK HAIR. WAT.

their song is good, I really love their album and their lastest comeback, nothing wrong with the group and their concept, such a pity that people sleep on them

101 is for people who want to be an idol, not for people who are already one. OK? He is killing other people's dream. He needs to get the hell out! So do the people who didn't like my statement. Sometimes truth hurts, doesn't it?

Wow how rude and disrespectful. Let me tell you, you are nobody to tell someone he shoukd stop hoping and that he has nothing more to show. You are nobody to tell someone has more right to demonstrate his passion and will to do what he loves or nor. And you are nobody to say such thing as " he is killing other people's dream". Youre just plain heartless and mean. Sometimes truth hurts, doesnt it?

Okay, so what if he wants to participate? It's not like there's rules against it, and the fact that he's an idol already doesn't mean anything, honey. He's trying to make a name for himself and his group, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. If you have a problem with that, don't watch the show.

Rules! I am glad you mentioned it. The problem with Koreans is that they don't respect the rules. There are so many people like you in Korea. That is why president Park was impeached. Because of people like you who do not respect rules of the law. They just do whatever they feel like. Get this off the show and give his spot to someone-else, who truly deserves. And you get off the board, dumb ass!

How is Nu'est participating any different than the DIA members participating last season? Also, how is he killing someone's dream? It's not like he killed someone to get the spot, he had to audition just like anyone else. Not his fault that "someone else truly deserving" didn't make it for the final cut of the show. LOL and do you know anything about politics? Its one thing to have an opinion, but its another to make a statement at an appropriate time, and right now is not the appropriate time for your rant on politics (and generalizing Koreans) as there is no correlation between these two events.

I don't who or DIA is but if what you are saying is true, then they were wrong. AGAIN, I am for the last time saying that this type of show is only for idol wannabes, NOT for idols. Got it?

You can say whatever you want, but clearly the producers of the show think otherwise, since there are IDOLS on the show because they LET them be on the show. If it was wrong, why would the creators of the show even allow it? The show may have started out for idol wannabes, but clearly they producers have decided that the show is better off being available to ANYONE trying to make it in the industry, thus the participation of not only struggling idols, but models and actors as well. Do you get it or should I explain again? And if you're so adamant about the show only being for wannabe idols, please provide proof of the rules laid out by MNET. Until then you just sound like a bitter fan whose fav didn't make it on the show or a just a random hater who has nothing better to do.

I remember the 2012 BAP EXO NU'EST debuts so well bc that's when I started to step away from western pop music and got really into k music. Nu'est 's debut was really good with FACE... those three groups were top quality that debut period. Their success carried on to further releases but didn't bring in new attention, and slowly they were kinda left behind the scenes :(  then PLEDIS went on to invest into the next line of idols they'd produce, seventeen.Hoping the best for Ren and nu'est in this cut-throat industry.
