So fucking tired of k-pop appropriating hair styles. Just because they rap doesn't mean they need fucking dreads.

lol didnt know rap = dreads :') I'd think reggae a.k.a Haha's group = dreads. This really isnt appropriating, it's his hair, let him do what he wants with it. If he says he made the hairstyle then it'd be a problem :)

They didn't give beiber a hard time here in America but why is it such a crime to you for these YG folks? If anything it's culture appreciation bringing back the aesthetics from the 80s and 90s. Do you listen to roots reggae? These bands made up of white and blacks got the whole rasta ordeal going on without any issues. I get that some of you get sensitive but expressing it your manner is a bit wee much

actually when it comes to hair, you could say every culture appropriates then... Black women straightening their hair, or bleaching it to look blond... You can't just point fingers to one side and not look at the other. I understand the whole native american headdress, that is more of a cultural appropriation issue than someone getting dreads. Do the dreads have a specific meaning? Do you need to achieve something to have said hair? Is it related to religion some way or another? No? It's just a hair style, just because one created such hairstyle happen to be black, it does not mean that said hairstyle was meant to be used only by a certain colour/race. If that were the case, black hairstylists could refuse service to white people if a white person wanted perms, dreads, braids, cornrows etc. etc.. There is no suching thing as a certain race/skin colour owning a style/fashion/clothing.

your as fucking idiot, this is NOT appropriating. First of dreads and locks are part of Rastafari and that's a fucking RELIGION AND YOU CAN BE ANY RACE AND ETHNICITY TO BE PART O ANY RELIGION. So fuck off, If you say this is appropriating then saying Black girls and Asians who dye their hair blonde is appropriating and Black girls who straighten their hair is appropriating. Fuck off you uneducated twat,

It truly is. When I was a teenager (or younger), things seemed more simple. No one was offending anyone (unless you were a politician). There was only a few genders you could identify with (now theres like 12 or something), you can appropriate anything nowadays, you can't be funny anymore because someone will be offended... why can't things be simple...
