According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hollywood studios 20th Century Fox and Sony Pictures, along with France's Gaumont, Canal Plus and EuropaCorp are pursuing the remake rights for 'Train to Busan.'

Contents Panda, the international branch of the company that produced the film, is said to be in charge of the sale. Danny Lee, the senior manager of Contents Panda, stated, "Several major Hollywood studios as well as top French and European companies have made inquiries about remake rights," and that some even "made offers."

However, Lee added that they are in no rush to strike deals right this moment, as the movie remains a major hit at the box office.

Ahhhh remakes... because when a western movie is popular all other people must watch the subs in their language at theaters but the west can't seem to stand the idea that another country filled with non white people are good at something and get the spotlight for 2 hours in a great movie... they can't concentrate with all the asian (remakes always end up being crap are you kidding just sub the movie don't take from the originality)

Seriously? Can't they just buy movie and make subs to it? Why do they always make remakes? That's annoying.
