It appears that some IOI fans are not taking too well to news of Jung Chae Yeon rejoining DIA as an official member.

On May 15, IOI's fan club published a document titled 'DC Inside IOI Gallery Joint Public Announcement' which clearly states their strong opposition to Jung Chae Yeon's return to DIA for as long as she remains active under IOI.

SEE ALSO: DIA confirmed to comeback in August!

The announcement goes:

"Jung Chae Yeon (MBK, IOI)'s addition to DIA which was reported in the media this past May 10 is an act which undermines the decision of the public. Due to the decision [to add Jung Chae Yeon to DIA], the public sentiment toward the parties involved, including IOI, has worsened.

The current period, which is far from the official conclusion of IOI's one-year promotions, is not the right time [for Jung Chae Yeon] to join DIA. We cannot accept the agency's decision which we expect will have a negative effect on IOI's group activities as well as Jung Chae Yeon's promotions.

We raise our voices against MBK Entertainment's irresponsible attitude in having no consideration toward its star's health, poor handling of schedules, and tarnishing of image. This is the fans' request which in no way is a reflection of Jung Chae Yeon's personal wishes.

We oppose Jung Chae Yeon's addition to DIA while she is promoting with IOI, and should Jung Chae Yeon join DIA during this time period, we will boycott all [of DIA's] activities. We request an official apology from MBK's CEO and producer, and the promise to do everything it takes to let artists get plenty of rest and support so that Jung Chae Yeon will not be hindered in her activities."

Lmao... what.I get having an opinion and all, and even going so far as to write up a piece as to why it's a bad decision... but demanding an apology and boycotting events? Like shit get over yourselves lmao.

aldrin_m Monday, May 16, 2016

Sorry Chaeyeonnie, but I agree to this one. :)

LilBmw Monday, May 16, 2016

I don't think MBK, should have let any of the DIA members join produce 101 because they are already a group... why don't yuu just disband all of them to stop the annoying bashing and what not

marilynbluee LilBmw Monday, May 16, 2016

They applied for Produce 101 before they join the group.

NgohiongPuso LilBmw Monday, May 16, 2016

Unfortunately, before their debut they have already been accepted in PD101.

LilBmw NgohiongPuso Monday, May 16, 2016

Oh, I see but even so, all this controversies must be killing them.

LilBmw marilynbluee Monday, May 16, 2016

Her! Not them... :) hahaha

blbla Monday, May 16, 2016

don't know which the greedy one

NgohiongPuso blbla Monday, May 16, 2016

For me, the one who is riding with the trending group! :)

Qricket Monday, May 16, 2016

MBK should just put Dani in her place for now and then let Chaeyeon demoing after her time with IOI is up.

You have GOT to be fucking kidding me! These so-called fans are psychos. This sums it up in a nutshell. "This is the fans' request which in no way is a reflection of Jung Chae Yeon's personal wishes." It's like they're saying "to hell with what she wants. It's about what we want because we own her ass". I just wanna Gibbsmack em all.

dereksm27 BigBlueagain Sunday, May 15, 2016

Guess you are a fucking stupid not to understand the whole scenario. IOI' schedule is so hectic that members are not getting any well rest. If chaeyeon joins dia, then her health will definitely affected.

BigBlueagain dereksm27 Monday, May 16, 2016

NOW who's assuming. Her life, her company, fans can support her but who's hurting who here? The fans are hurting her. Period.

NgohiongPuso BigBlueagain Monday, May 16, 2016

Actually, their plan to boycott has merit because I think its on the ground of Conflict of Interest. Business-wise, health-wise, career-wise, the one on the losing end will be Chaeyeon. If IOI and DIA will have conflicting schedules it will be because one member has conflict of interest and she cannot do two things at the same time. This is a perfect example of two-timing in a relationship.

BigBlueagain NgohiongPuso Monday, May 16, 2016

This is a perfect example of a bogus group designed to do nothing more than get more money from idiots. IOI is only around for a year. They're not even a real group. That's why I don't acknowledge them at all. As far as I'm concerned this is just PR101 season 2. If they want to do something that will actually help their careers and give them something resembling longevity, more power to 'em. IF the so-called fans want to punish them for that... well, no law against being stupid.

VerdeletG_123 BigBlueagain Monday, May 16, 2016

fans kinda did vote for her to commit to this group though...

BigBlueagain VerdeletG_123 Monday, May 16, 2016

And fans are kinda going to make her quit the group for something more permanent. AND they don't seem to mind the other members with dual commitments. Just this one.

NgohiongPuso BigBlueagain Monday, May 16, 2016

I was actually thinking that Produce 101 is an experiment. It is an initial test based on broadcasting, editing, PR, maneuvers... That is my conspiracy theory though..

BigBlueagain NgohiongPuso Monday, May 16, 2016

I can see it. Not sure if you're right or not, but I can see it.

junxxmin Sunday, May 15, 2016

Okay but MBK never makes a good decision... NEVER i'm just really done with that whole managing company at this point

Exo_Leia Sunday, May 15, 2016

I never saw a problem with her promoting with DIA except that she would be working a lot and may over exert herself. I don't understand how it would be a conflict of interest? And can someone explain the 1 year thing... Is IOI just a one year group promotion and then the girls go back to their companies to join another group?

bulletproofb2uty Exo_Leia Sunday, May 15, 2016

That's basically it, yeah. Or they'll just go back to being trainees

Exo_Leia bulletproofb2uty Sunday, May 15, 2016

Ohh... So it wasn't really to make a girl group, but promote a show and showcase the girls talent and boost their popularity? I hope they all debut soon when they go back instead of going back to trainee status

bulletproofb2uty Exo_Leia Monday, May 16, 2016

And to make money off of them

NgohiongPuso Exo_Leia Monday, May 16, 2016
