Song Joong Ki is currently one of the biggest hallyu stars following the hit KBS drama 'Descendants of the Sun'. He's dominating the industry with countless CFs, model offers, photo shoots, and more, but he's still competing for the hallyu crown against another actor who's huge in China. As you may have guessed, it's Kim Soo Hyun!  

Back in 2014, Kim Soo Hyun's popularity skyrocketed with the popularity of the SBS drama 'You Who Came From the Stars'. As a result, his fame went through the roof, especially in China. However, Song Joong Ki, who was recently named the celebrity most loved by Chinese fans, is a fierce competitor to take his #1 spot.

Media outlet Nate recently opened an interesting online poll asking, "Will Song Joong Ki's popularity in China overcome Kim Soo Hyun's?", and the results are quite drastic. 

Kim Soo Hyun, who gained a total of 21,362 votes, is winning with 80%! On the other hand, Song Joong Ki only gained 5,432 votes, which equals to 20% of the total. Netizens commented, "Still Kim Soo Hyun," "Kim Soo Hyun, fighting! I love you forever," etc. 

Chinese netizens also seem to be taking part in the poll as IDs with Chinese names left comments in English that said, "Kim Soo Hyun, fighting," "Support you forever! I love you, Kim Soo Hyun,"  and more.

Overall, Kim Soo Hyun is dominating the poll, maintaining his name as the hallyu king.
