Red Velvet�made a surprise appearance on the last episode of 'Descendants of the Sun'. In the drama, the girl group visited the military base to hold a special performance. The reactions were phenomenal as the soldiers went crazy at the girl group's appearance. Red Velvet even made 'Suh Dae Young' and 'Yoo Si Jin' move their bodies to "Dumb Dumb".
Even though this scene brought loads of laughter, it is being criticized for its randomness. Viewers claim that Red Velvet's appearance was unnecessary, and even criticized�SM Entertainment for PPL (Product Placement) and indirectly advertising their artist.

In addition, Red Velvet is under the same label as SHINee's Onew,�who took the role of 'Lee Chi Hoon' in the drama. Viewers believe this is another link to Red Velvet's random appearance.
