Amidst all the disgruntled objections about the less-than-satisfactory ending of 'Cheese in the Trap,' many of the actors and the staff members of the drama left Korea on March 2 for a tropical getaway at Phuket. 

Unfortunately, a few actors including Park Hae Jin, Lee Sung Kyung, and Nam Joo Hyuk, were unable to join the 'Cheese in the Trap' crew for the vacation due to conflicting schedules. 

Though vacationing in the tropics is more likely to leave one excited, the 'Cheese in the Trap' pack were not in the highest of spirits. One 'Cheese in the Trap' rep relayed, "Though they left for a vacation, the atmosphere wasn't all that good. Because of the controversy they decided to leave [Korea] and return quietly." 

The entertainment world couldn't be any further from quiet, especially considering all the criticisms and condemnation from the public regarding the drama's recent controversies. Following the discord the drama had with Soonkki, the creator of original web toon, the drama has once again caught the negative attention for its hastily prepared, disappointing ending.

On top of that, one 'Cheese in the Trap' staff had added fuel to the fire for venting on Instagram. The staff member wrote, "Why do they talk so much and what do they dislike so much [about the drama]? If you don't like it then all you have to do is not watch it but they're pointing their fingers after watching the whole series. Do they know just how we work our fingers to the bone to produce a drama? I wish they would stop blabbering when they don't know anything." Needless to say, this staff member's frustraion wasn't met with understanding; rather, it incited even more backlash and anger. 

The criticism got so bad that a 'Cheese in the Trap' rep had to come forward with an official statement, telling OSEN on March 2, "We are in the process of finding out if that post on social media was uploaded by one of our staff members."
