Rookie boy group ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo has been confirmed for a role in a Chinese epic drama! 

According to an entertainment insider, Cha Eun Woo had a meeting with representatives from a Chinese global media contents group. During this meeting, Cha Eun Woo got the okay to star in this drama, which makes it the idol's very first acting gig in just a week since ASTRO's debut.

"The reps from China had their eyes on Cha Eun Woo. They are eager to start filming [for the drama] as soon as the debut promotions are over. We will have to watch out for any additional castings as the reps have taken an interest in the other members as well."
