Idol groups who vanished from the music scene

Chocolat, EvoL, Kiss & Cry
1. Groups who vanished from the music scene
The overpowering wave of K-Pop groups debuting year after year is quite unbelievable, yet impressive. With groups appearing left and right, and some releasing super catchy tracks, they still often find themselves struggling. There has been many groups that graced the stage for a brief moment only to have vanished into thin air. Check out this list of idols who made better disappearing acts if anything.
2. C-real
C-real was no exception to this disappearance phenomenon. Despite having mediocre success, the girls were releasing various popular singles and were even featured on some drama OSTs. After "Danger Girl" (which was a flop from their previous songs in my opinion) they become ghost like idols. There one moment and gone the next.
3. Woman Power
The most vanished act of all of K-Pop goes to the trio Woman Power. These ladies had a sweet set of vocals and not to mention pretty faces. Although coming from a highly experienced background, the girls released "I Hate You," performed the song on two show programs and have since then become a mystery bigger than the "who came first, the chicken or the egg?" phenomenon.
4. Touch
These boys, believe it or not, debuted in October of 2010. Although having released a few songs here and there, they just never seemed to become mainstream and faded into evanescence. The group suffered many line up changes, causing them to promote songs with a different member line up every time. Original member Da Bin is seen being active through Boy's Republic, currently.
5. B.Dolls
Whether it is the agencies or the groups themselves that lead to their own demise, no one can deny that this group all together had little promotion, pre-debut hype and even any reaction from fans after their debut. Although "Disco Town" was a nice approach for that 80's trend we all know and crave today, it just wasn't all that jazz back then. The ladies, to their dismay, had to take a bow and exit stage left.
6. Excite
This boy group had a very fascinating sound for their debut track "Try Again" two years ago. The track was catchy in its own way but they seemed to lack a certain 'wow' factor that would make them big. After releasing "Can't We Just," the boys also slipped behind the curtains and haven't been around much since then.
7. Chocolate
One of many groups who dropped an utterly fun and catchy single and for some reason or another, dropped off the face of the earth. Even though they only performed the song 3 times and desperately needed a few more years of training, "What To Do" is still a song worth jamming out to even after all these years. Unfortunately the group underwent a huge scandal where it was suggested that Chinese member Fei and Korean-American member Cheryl were undergoing sexual exploitation through their management company. It was not the case but it was enough to break the girls up making their current whereabouts unknown.
8. WE
A co-ed group that had a very upbeat and colorful approach to music. Their funky single "Party" made for a fun and crazy song but not enough to keep on everyone's 'must have' playlist. The group hasn't dropped a beat since then.
9. Kiss&Cry
This group was like dynamite. Dynamite in the sense that they blew up the stage with their strong and solid voices but left with nothing. They didn't draw in much fan attention with their song "Domino Game" and they revealed their disbandment during a variety show program - talk about awkward.
10. EvoL
If you didn't think they were a mini 2NE1 then you were in denial. Although 2NE1 is on their own level of K-Pop supremacy, these ladies definitely rocked a kick-butt attitude and their song was definitely in your face. After releasing "Get Up" and "Magnet" it seemed to be the end of their fierce start. Quite the pity. Lately, they are remaining active through more Youtube covers and a feature spot once in awhile.
11. April Kiss
Another talent put to waste. April Kiss debuted four years ago with "Hello Bus," said to resemble the Pussycat Doll's "When I Grow Up," and had enormous stage presence. They had everything any essential girl group needed to claim their way to fame; various members, great vocals, trendy stage concepts/styles and even a catchy song to boot. Yet, do not ask me how they had absolutely NO MV...what is life? Sadly, these Korean Pussycat Dolls left the scene as quickly as they entered it.
12. PURETTY
DSP's original Baby Kara, PURETTY had established a huge hype prior to debut. However, after promoting their Anime OP song "Cheki Cheki Love" they appeared to have stayed in Japan and vanished from the K-Pop scene. Two years later, a few of the members, such as Somin, had reappeared during the "The KARA Project" and are currently promoting in April.
13. HAM
Add another girl group to the charts because HAM had also fallen victim to this ghost trend. With their unique stage name, HAM (short for Heart and Mind) debuted in September of 2009 with the song "T.T. Dance," which to my delight sounds a lot like Titty Titty dance (listen for yourself, it is quite humorous). However, like many others mentioned in this article, the girls seemed to just come back and forth to the music scene like a pimple on a pubescent teen. They eventually disbanded but having announced this news after such a long hiatus, no one even knew who they really were.
14. Chocolat
This girl group was interesting from the start as they were, yet again, another group attempting the "mixed members" concept. They also shared similarities to previously mentioned girl group "Chocolate" for having similar group names and member concepts. Although having more talent than their predecessors, these ladies couldn't seem to break the glass ceiling of K-Pop. After "Black Tinker Bell" the girls seemed to have silently gone their own ways.
15. Piggy Dolls
Piggy Dolls made a -snickers- big commotion during their debut days (I couldn't resist the pun). They were able to continue pushing out some more comeback tracks after the hype for their debut song "Trend" shook up the music scene. The girls kept a powerful image and message saying it is OK to be who you are and love the body you have. However, their company revamped the member line up by making them go on diets and becoming skinnier for health reasons. After that they hadn't seen much success, fading until reaching their disbandment.
