In the brief teaser, we witness WINNER's Song Min Ho (Mino) audition, spitting the verses, "I came out of my own will, with the YG sticker off," making clear his intent to compete fairly without any help from his label. Yet another idol rapper, VIXX's Ravi will be competing on the show, casting aside his idol image just for the sake of proving his rap skills on 'SMTM4.'
Some under rappers that will be starring on the show includes the legendary P-Type, relatively new-to-the-scene Andup, Topp Dogg's Kidoh and Yano, MONSTA X's Jooheon, Mad Town's Buffy, and more. The producer lineup is quite impressive as well, featuring Jinusean, Tablo, Verbal Jint, San E, Jay Park, Loco, Zico, and Paloalto.
The first episode will air this coming June 26.
