Hong Jong Hyun met the parents of his onscreen wife Yura on the November 29 episode of 'We Got Married'.
The two headed to Yura's home in Ulsan with Hong Jong Hyun's gifts of couple gowns and flowers in hand. He was unable to hide his nervousness as they came to her parents' door, which opened to a lavish home.
Hong Jong Hyun told the Girl's Day member's parents, "I was surprised. You're so young," and her dad replied, "Your wife is pretty." Yura's mother was taken by the handsome actor-model as well. She mentioned that he looked like a Hollywood actor.
Despite his shy and reserved personality, Hong Jong Hyun tried his best to be friendly and personable. Yura said in her solo interview, "The fact that he put aside his shyness and tried his best was really touching to me."
