2NE1's upcoming music video reported to cost 500 million KRW ($470K)

2NE1
2NE1 promised to be coming back bigger than ever with a large budget mv, and according to the latest report, that budget is said to be 500 million KRW (~470,000 USD)!

According to an exclusive report by media outlet Osen, the girls will be living up to the name of their world tour, 'ALL OR NOTHING', by experimenting with a rookie director and staff. They won't be going with a director with a lot of music video experience but rather someone new to the MV directing world as they aim to bring in something fresh and never seen before with their new release, according to the reps on set. It has also been reported that 500 million KRW (~469,000 USD) has been invested into the music video for the group's upgraded comeback.

Yang Hyun Suk previously stated, "The music video (MV) of 2NE1's latest title song, which is an MV with the largest budget for the group, requires high level of computer graphic work.

So a teaser video will be unveiled first on February 24th, and then a completed version on February 28th."

Of course, It's YG Entertainment, so many of the details that we're all curious about will be kept secret for the time being but the wait will be probably worth it as expected of 2NE1!

Stay tuned for the release of 2NE1's 2nd full-length album 'CRUSH' and MV teaser on the 24th, and the full MV on the 28th!
