SHINee's Jonghyun to replace Jung Yeop as new DJ of 'Blue Night'

MBC announced on January 23, "Following DJ Jung Yeop, who announced his leave from 'Blue Night', SHINee's Jonghyun has been appointed as the replacement. 'Blue Night' with Jonghyun will start on February 3."

A rep from MBC radio explained that Jonghyun's interest in music and composing had a lot to do with him being chosen as the best candidate. "The way Jonghyun sincerely carries out his music activities has always caught our eye, and because he has a lot of passion for music as a musician, he will lead the music program 'Blue Night' well."

'Blue Night' has always recruited respected male musicians for the radio show in the past, including Sung Si Kyung, Alex, Jung Yeop, and now Jonghyun will follow in their footsteps after Jung Yeop, who's leaving to focus on his new album.
