According to various music insiders, Rain is currently aiming to release a new album next year, and is working hard to get his album finished by early 2014. He's been working on his album recently in a studio in Chungdamdong.
One said, "He already finished about 6 songs. He has a few songs he�composed�himself. As for the concept, he's thinking about whether to come back as Rain's usual image, or a completely new image since his discharge from the army."

Another said, "He's getting ready for his comeback, and looking for artists to feature. There are many artists preparing to come back next January, but Rain's new album will be his first since his discharge, and it's the most focused on by popular music insiders."
