SM Entertainment is setting their sights on the big picture as they embark on the road to become a major music company such as Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, and Sony Music Entertainment.

Just as the three mentioned labels are major global music companies that manage various sub labels, SM will also set out to become a representative music group in Asia.

They've already kicked off the process as SM C&C has announced a merger with Woollim Entertainment to create an independent 'Woollim Label', whose music will differ from SM Entertainment's sounds with their own color of music and an eclectic lineup of artists. With its connection to SM Entertainment, SM C&C, and other global subsidiaries, a synergy effect is expected.

In addition, with SM Entertainment's global influence and network, artists now under Woollim Label like INFINITE, NELL, and TASTY will benefit, and their increased global recognition will also raise SM group's total sales and profits.

Regarding 'Woollim Label', SM Entertainment stated, "SM Entertainment will run its global music distribution and additional businesses while SM C&C will take charge of the label's functions. In terms of business structure and scale, we will acquire international competitiveness and will stand as Asia's premier music group which can compete with global major music groups. We will take our place as the first global major music group in Korea."

Ok ... I'm a little bit worried about this ... about INFINITE I want them to keep their own style This also goes for NELL and TASTY !! I don't want SM to force them to do things and be a copy of other SM groups I really don't want that bc That's what I like about them !! other than that I know that They will get bigger but When it's a big company like SM ... I just want INFINITE to be happy seriously and won't be forced to do anything not in their style but if it's a big company I feel like they won't be as happy !! But in the end I trust their CEO so I pray everything will be good ^_^

To E.L.F and Shawol, Disney Channel is plagiarizing SM songs like:Super Juniors' "Sorry, Sorry" and Shinees' "Dream Girl"

# 1 Sorry, Sorry. /watch?v=1BJcMyCwM1s.

# 2 Dream Girl. /watch?v=8hAqDnNXbVk

Help by spreading the message so SM can stop them from doing this!

I just need you to realize that those songs and tracks were created by someone called Drew Ryan Scott , who is actually known for his work with SM (he's written and composed SOOO many I their songs it isn't even funny) and his work with Disney channel (that movie Starstruck , it was him that wrote and sung that Hero song) . Therefore , most likely, either the rights to the songs are still his , so he CAN sell them to Disney and SM and it be perfectly legal. Or . He's selling it to both without the others knowing or the time limits for resale is up . There's a ton of different scenarios . But seriously . Before you start accusing people of plagiarism and trying to start a fan movement , you should look up facts ... For all you know SM could have sold the music to Disney after buying it from Drew .

Listen to Luis Miguel's "Vuelve" it sounds similar to Dream Girl (not the same, and not trying to bash, I like SHINee (: )
