Psy's "Gentleman" is on its way to possibly becoming another worldwide sensation as it has already entered iTunes' Top 100 Singles chart in 38 countries across 6 continents, and of course, dominated in its home country.
On the 13th in Korea, "Gentleman" ranked #1 across all the notable domestic music sites for the second consecutive day, including Melon, Mnet, Soribada, Bugs, Olleh Music, Naver Music, Daum Music, Cyworld Music, Monkey3, and more.
As for the international release, according to the iTunes' Top Singles chart on the 13th at around 8:00 AM KST, "Gentleman" was spotted in the Top 10 in several countries including #1 in Vietnam, #2 in Singapore, #3 in Hong Kong, #4 in Cambodia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. #6 in Argentina, and #7 in Finland.
It was also within the Top 100 in many countries, achieving #12 in Paraguay, #13 in Sweden and Switzerland, #14 in Taiwan, #15 in Denmark and Mongolia, #19 in Netherlands, #23 in Slovakia, #25 in Belgium and England, #26 in France, #27 in New Zealand, #30 in Turkey, #31 in Mexico, #38 in Luxembourg, #42 in Austria, #44 in Colombia, #46 in Nigeria, #48 in Chile and Australia, #57 in Thailand, #61 in Canada, #67 in Indonesia and Ireland, #72 in Germany, #78 in Brazil and Italy, #79 in Spain, #88 in Russia, and #97 in South Africa.
Due to the late release of "Gentleman" in many countries due to the time zone differences (as the track was released at midnight of the 12th for each time zone), the ranking is still being calculated. As for the U.S., who got the release 10 hours later than Korea, the song was seen rapidly rising, hitting #113, and is expected to climb high quickly.
Psy will be performing the song for the first time during his 'HAPPPENING' concert later today (13th), and will also be revealing his music video, so stay tuned!
