Singer Youme burst into tears during her 'Immortal Song 2' performance. She covered Um Jung Hwa's "Betrayal of Roses".
Youme's 'Immortal Song 2' stage was incredibly meaningful for her. Though she became known for her debut song "Love Is Always Thirsty" and the OST for the movie '300 Pound Beauty', she was unable to perform on TV for the past 4 years. When she finished her song, she said, "I missed these stages so much".
She explained, "After I got a request to appear on 'Immortal Song 2', I was so surprised that I asked my manager over and over again (if it was true). This is a stage I wanted to stand on again even in my dreams. Even though I could not stand on stage until now, I always sang. I trained many students as a vocal trainer, and I never let my ties with music go. It felt a bit strange to sing live in front of a large crowd with a live band."
