Kim Soo Ro explains why he changed his name

The actor Kim Soo Ro recently explained why he chose to debut with a screen name instead of his real name, Kim Sang Joong.

On the latest episode of MBC's 'Quiz to Change the World', Kim Soo Ro was connected through a phone call with his friend and episode guest Wang Bae.

"He's a good friend who works hard. Please take care of him," he started. "But please also tell him to change his name."

Wang Bae explained that he was, indeed, using his real name, to which Kim Soo Ro replied, "My name is a screen name. My real name is Kim Sang Joong, but I changed it because there was already an actor with the same name."

The actor Kim Sang Joong has lent his talents to many works, including 'City Hunter' and 'The Chaser'.
