KARA's Seungyeon, Nicole, & Jiyoung to participate in 'Immortal Song 2' Christmas special

It has just been revealed that KARA's Seungyeon, Nicole, and Jiyoung will be participating as special guests in KBS's 'Immortal Song 2'! On December 12th, the three members joined the 'Immortal Song 2' panel at the KBS hall to record for the show's upcoming Christmas special. Since the show's first broadcast six months ago, this will be the first time a girl group is featured. Unfortunately, Hara and Gyuri will not be participating due to scheduling conflicts with their other activities. The show has a history of solo contestants with the exception of special guests joining them on stage, so this will be the first time a team is competing on the show. Producers have asked contestants to pick a seasonal song from the '80s through the '90s. Producers stated, "The special will allow viewers to feel the festivity in the air, so please look forward to it." Expectations for the Christmas special are high. Netizens have flocked to the program's message board in hopes of landing a ticket to join the audience. The Christmas special will air on December 24th, or Christmas Eve.
