Wonder Girls named honorary ambassadors for the '2013 Pyeongchang Special Olympics'

The Wonder Girls have been appointed as honorary ambassadors for the '2013 Pyeongchang Special Olympics'! The girls joined the festivities in Athens as Korea's representatives earlier this month, and did their part in raising awareness of Korean culture overseas.�After their stunning performances, the Olympics Committee asked the girls if they would like to act as honorary ambassadors for the event in 2013. The Wonder Girls readily accepted the offer, making them honorary ambassadors alongside names like Kim Yun Jin, Yiruma, Nam Kyung Ju, Kim Jin Ho, and Zhang Ziyi. The members stated, "Performing on stage at the opening ceremony in Greece not only moved our hearts, but instilled a sense of duty.�We're very grateful and feel honored to be a part of such a meaningful event and will do our best to raise awareness for the 2013 Pyeongchang Special Olympics."
