On this week's installment of 'ZIP Daesung', host Daesung decided to invite bffs G-Dragon and Lee Soo Hyuk as guests, but without telling them that the other would also be a guest.
The big surprise, rather than thoroughly catching the two guests off-guard, put Daesung on the spot as G-Dragon jokingly accused his fellow Big Bang member of "using him for clout".
Afterward, G-Dragon and Lee Soo Hyuk opened up about how they became such good friends, explaining, "We met in our first year of high school. When we were both around 16~17."
Hearing this, Daesung pointed out, "Hyung, the lyrics to 'This Love' that go, 'My friends call me a f*****. The real life friend who called him that. This guy (pointing to Lee Soo Hyuk) is the guy," and GD confirmed with laughter, "That's right, this guy called me a f*****! The lyrics should have just been, 'Lee Soo Hyuk calls me a f*****!".
Later, Daesung also asked the two friends, "Do you two talk on the phone often?", to which GD replied, "You see this guy gets lonely. And you know I like to talk." To this, Daesung followed up with, "If Soo Hyuk gets lonely, do you comfort him as much as you can?", and here, Lee Soo Hyuk answered, "You think he makes effort? Of course not. He just has me on speaker while he's tapping likes on SNS."
Daesung then pointed out, "Isn't that what lovers do?", while GD admitted, "We do talk for around 1~2 hours at a time."
What do these two friends talk about? According to Lee Soo Hyuk, "Well I just call him from time to time if there's a lot to say that's been accumulating. I tend to call him up as I'm getting off work. He just calls me as he's heading out. Whenever he feels like it. He doesn't answer my calls when I want him to, but then he'll just call me up when he's free and be like, 'wyd?'".
